Once or twice aweek is plenty if even that often. 1 tablespoon of baking soda per 1 cup of warm water, pour in hair let it sit for a minute and rinse, hair/scalp feels clean, refreshed, also cleans any blocked hair follicles. i may not have much improvement growth wise but my hair looks better anyway clean and im hoping the grunge thing will kick in sometime and see some noticable regrowth. til then ill do the soda thing because nearly 2 years of grunge i think my scalp is better off being cleaned, just water only wasnt cleaning my hair/scalp.................. |
Hey there,
Let me know if you have any troubles about baking soda as I have been using for a little longer and have gone through some evolutions with it. It is great though, isn't it. |

Blah blah blah,
Hairguy, it is a profile. It is the side of your head, the left side of your head. Thankfully, it has an ear instead of a mouth.
Here's how you do it, get your camera and make like you are going to take a picture of the back of your head again, then stop half way 'round.
It's half as far.
When you put on ear muffs, where the muff parts are, that's the sides.
Go to the muff marked 'L'.
Use a flash.
Thanks in advance,

| yeah when i first started using it , it worked great but i learned that you cant use it too often and seems like im having to adjust the amount i use more frequently, in other words once a week is plenty for me if that or my hair starts looking flat and dull |

| hairguy, im not disputing your pics, but seeing a pic of your scalp before you started grunge would explain alot, its hard to tell regrowth you have gotten to measure.................how much hair on your head is regrowth???????????????/ and where, if you had no hair on your head and slick bald from looking at your photo then yes very impressive if what hair we see in your photos is regrowth starting from slick bald.. |

The same thing happened to me. What works for me is if I do a vinegar rinse in between. Also, using only distilled water has had a major impact on my hair and scalp in a positive way. As well as reducing the amount of baking soda I use. |

| There is no point in harrassing hairguy for more photos. One can easily extrapolate the regrowth, or lack thereof, with the current images so generously provided by hairguy. Ingrate insurgency will not be tolerated by the terminator administrator. |

I can't help myself, I just have to see that side shot because I think I see about an 1 1/2" of regrowth and that would be pretty cool to know for sure, which I just can't be until I can see his profile and measure from the ear tip. His attitude may cool me off though in the long run, but for now this cat is inviting death via curiosity.

There are now only 2 known "strictly grungers" around town and they are Hairguy and supposedly Kramer.
Hairguy is grunge because he totally believes in it.
Kramer is grunge simply due to his laziness. _________________

Well, what is grunge? Is it quitting shampoo? If so then there are at least a majority here that still follow the doctrin. If it is avoiding harsh and unnatural chemicals, then I think few could disagree that by using nothing but distilled water, sea salt, and rice that I have far less contact with these chemicals than someone using even the best city water... maybe this is grunge?
Or maybe I could wash only in a mountain stream? Personally I would still want to distill that water too these days. |
